Applications:
KZD couplings, are used across the spectrum of hydraulic applications. These Double Shut-Offcouplings can be found anywhere that fluid transfer lines need to be connected and disconnected for operation or maintenance of equipment, and a loss of fluid is undesirable. Primarily used with hydraulic fluid. KZD couplings are also used with chemicals, water, steam, and some gases.
Installation:
Preparation:
Ensure that both the coupler and the hose or fitting it connects to are clean and free of debris.
Connection:
For threaded connections: Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the male fitting for a tight seal. Screw the female coupler onto the fitting until secure, but do not overtighten.
For barbed connections: Push the hose onto the barbed end of the coupler and secure it with a hose clamp to prevent leakage.
For push-to-connect: Simply push the hose into the coupler until it clicks into place.
